Beetroot & Jalapeño Seasoning

While making the Beetroot Reaper Hot Ketchup, the beet skins just were not going to work in the sauce. But they weren't going to be wasted either!

Smoked & fermented beetroot skins with a bit of ginger and smoked dried Jalapeno chillis. Smokey and earthy beetroot tang with a pleasant chilli warmth.

This can be used to season a dish, applied to meat as a rub and could even be used as a paste on some BBQ or roast veg by adding a bit of vinegar and oil.
